About 10 years ago, myself and a handful of friends decided to throw a party in which we all made short films and screened them like a festival…you know, for fun! Since we lived in a house on Drexel Avenue, we called the festival DrexelDance. That year we screened 7 or 8 films, all written, directed, edited by and starring our friends. Every summer, Shannon and I head back to my old stomping grounds in Northern Indiana. My parents bought a lake house a few years ago and ever since then we have looked forward to relaxing on the pontoon or zipping around the lake on the ski-doos. This year my brother-in-law, Mark “Boots” Fawley, came up with the idea that I should write a short horror film and shoot it while we were up at the lake.
