Life is short…and so are these!This is the true story of a receptionist gone mad. After having answered phones for several years at a management office, I was ready to explode. Instead of said combustion, I turned that energy around and started shooting short films at my desk…during business hours. The result is a weekly online series called, The Receptionist. Using nothing but myself and an endless amount of construction paper for sets, a new story is created every week and posted into cyber space. The series has grown a small fan base who would often dub the show the love child of David Lynch and Mr. Rogers…which is a combination that makes me giddy as all hell! As the series grew, so did the construction paper world I was building. Each story is now it’s own mini-production that not only entertains the masses of the world, but gives my co-workers some truly bizarre moments to chuckle at when they watch me film these live.
